Omg!!! I finally received it na!! And I’m so over the moon as usual this was packaged properly no dents or whatsoever will, and this book shop is definitely one of my trusted go to online. They are very honest when it comes to their products and sells authentic international books 📚

Anyway another Frieda McFadden books gurl!! And not like the title of the book this and the housemaid are definitely one na I’m super excited to begin reading 📖 Atp I have 4 physical books and 1 preorder and 2 or 3 digital ebooks owned by her!!

Psychological thriller is one of my favorite sub genres. I love the plot twists and mind bending narratives 💌

Frieda's books are a hit or miss with me. I was really excited about this one and couldn't wait to read it because the idea sounded really interesting but it was a real let down. The story line was not believable. I thought a lot of the decisions the characters made were strange and didn't make sense. Also, how everything just fell into place were just too convenient for it actually to be believable. The doctor didn't seem professional, and did not act like a realistic doctor in the way they thought or the things they did. I gave it 2 stars, because it's not the worst book I have ever read, but definitely isn't a book I would recommend or read a second time.

I loved it!! If you’re an advanced reader, you probably will find it mediocre, blahblahblah. I just started reading and like stuff that is easy to understand. For example, I wanted to start with Agatha Christie and I couldn’t. Had to be looking up terms online because it was old english, and also I don’t think it’s easy to understand when she’s jumping to different characters, it’s not clear to me. I finished this book in two days. I have a baby, if not, I would have finished it in a day. It kept me entertained. I really enjoyed it!!

Suitability:The book was great!

The book was about the newlyweds who came to have a new house, in which they discovered the house owned by a psychiatrist who went missing for years ago. The newlywed got stuck on that house because of a storm. To ease their boredom they start looking for a book to read. While looking for a book they accidentally found a tape recording of the patients of the owner. Those recordings are helpful in discovering the reason for the disappearance of the owner. YEAH
