I bought one PuroAir 240 about 6 weeks ago to mitigate me smoking in the house. It's not cigarettes. The unit works better than I expected. After a few minutes it removes all the smoke from the air and therefore never leaves the room. It worked so well that I bought 2 more units taking advantage of their sale. One for the living room and one for the family room. We have 3 dogs constantly going in and outside tracking in who knows what. My girlfriend was having a lot of allergic reactions, short sneezing fits, etc. Since we are using the PuroAir in the living room which is near the kitchen she has not been sneezing.

After the second day my husband and I noticed we weren’t as stuffy waking up in the morning. After about a week and a half I’ve also noticed the dust in our house isn’t near as bad. We can tell it’s working and love that! The only thing I don’t like is that the air quality light always stays green no matter what. I’ve gone so far to hold nail polish over it and it still stays green. Not a huge deal because I can tell that it’s still
Purifying our air, but it’s a visual and mind thing to see it actually changing that I wish worked. Otherwise I recommend.

Two heavy smoker's and this is a game changer! We love it! Not sure how long the poor filter will last, but not worried since there is an indicator of when the filters need changed. Very happy with purchase! Would recommend to a friend. Only disadvantage is incomes shipped in original box indicating what the contents are. Theft attraction when delivery is left. Maybe offer outer packaging as an option to better hide contents.

After the first day's use my allergies went from a constant puffy red eyed sneezing nightmare to a much more breathable and tolerable atmosphere. I live in an apartment complex that allows pets and unfortunately for me my neighbors to the left and right of me and above me all have cats and dogs which I'm allergic to. In the fall when pollen is higher to which I'm also allergic it adds to the challenges of trying to breathe. The air purifier for me was a godsend as it cleared the area of allergens and other airborne particles and allowed me to breathe again and cut the daily requirement for allergy medicine just to be able to live in my home.
