January 4, 2025The Pros - I felt the material was soft, comfortable and the overall color on the threads was mostly good, except for a couple of areas (like when looking at the shirt from an angle - the side of the threads sometimes seemed to show, giving it a gradient effect when looking at an angle). Still, nice colors that seemed to be good quality.
The Cons - The seams appeared stretched, and not even where the arms meet the body of the shirt. The back of one seam appeared to be slightly misaligned and you can see a gap. This made the sweater fit weird on the shoulders, and fold funny on the front. Printful support said this is normal for the sweater. If you look close, you can see this on the images I submitted, but also on other users' images. The sweater rides up on the outside of the shoulders, and folds where it seams up against the front of the sweater.
Delivery - Ordered Dec. 6 - so Christmas rush. Expected fulfillment date was adjusted at least once with no warning. Tracking was not kept up to date by carrier (spent 3 days in my city stating in transit). Package arrived with no branding, and past estimated delivery date. (Only order I have had late from Printful - it did ship from China to be fair, and they stated shipping delays could be possible.)
Overall - I felt the quality is no where near good enough to justify the price tag. I polled 5 people, and everyone said they would not be happy with the quality issues for the price tag. It felt more like something I would expect from SHEIN or Temu for about half the price. I will not be able to add this to my store.

June 25, 2023This product is unusable for anything other them lounge around the house in pajamas... but definitely NOT to "sell" to anyone, or to build an actual product around. Three reasons...
1.) By far the most bewildering decision Printful has made here, is to put the stitching/seams for the leggings on the outside of the leggings, clearly and visibly showing. It makes the leggings look extraordinarily cheap (when in fact they are not, they would otherwise be just as fantastic as the plus-size counterpart leggings). It's just the strangest decision when clearly there is another sewing/manufacturing technique that tucks the stitching/seams inward.
2.) To make matters worse, Printful only allows either black or white stitching, which is great if the leggings are black or white, but if they are red, green, yellow, orange, etc. (you get my point), the stitching stands out like a sore thumb. Not to be confused, however, even if you could choose a stitching color, this would not erase the fact that the stitching is still on the outside of the leggings. Being able to choose a stitching color only improves the situation by a single degree, and thus still makes the leggings unusable for us. The plus-size counterpart leggings look well put together, well made, and with a great quality print, you can really have some fantastic leggings. So long as the stitching is on the outside, there just isn't a way to get the same equally as impressive and quality "looking" leggings with the regular fit. So now we can't even offer regular fit leggings (at least not through Printful).
We try to show the difference in the image provided, but you'll likely need to "right-click" and open the image in a new window to see it in fuller size.
3.) This one is really big, and many others have mentioned it in other reviews here. You only have the option to print on white leggings. The result for anything other than light-colored prints is underwhelming. If your print design is on the darker side (red, blue, brown, etc., and certainly black) then when the leggings are put on even with a naturally fit/stretch on the body, the white fibers underneath the print become exposed and it literally changes the color from red to pinkish, from black to grey, from blue to light blue, etc.) even darkening the prink to try a compensate does not work, as it's the white fibers that ultimately still show through and in essence change the color appearance and you barely get anything close to what you were looking for. So, it just becomes a matter of can you live with that effect or not. In most cases, it's not the end of the world for us, but really wish this weren't the case.
Printful, please allow the option to have different color leggings as a base, with either true white fibers, or true black fibers. Currently, we can choose a background base color for the leggings, like black, but if the actual fibers it is printed on are white, then it's the white fibers that inevitably show through when the leggings are put on. Wouldn't hurt to have some other base fiber colors as well, but at least add black. Otherwise, right now, it's impossible to have full black leggings, and that's got to be the most popular, in demand, and flattering leggings color. So a huge miss there.
Printful, fix these issues, please!
Did not need massive, wasteful paper catalog

April 25, 2024The tshirts themselves are great. Minus one start because I was displeased, however, to receive a MASSIVE 1-lb paper catalog with my order. This is incredibly non-environmentally-friendly. If I need future products, I will browse online. Nobody is ordering from catalogs anymore, at least not enough people to justify this massive waste of paper. This makes me hesitate to support the company again in the future despite the fact that our t-shirt quality was superb. I’m sure the weight of this enormous catalog added to shipping costs as well, which seems unnecessary regardless of whether the cost was absorbed by me or by the company. Also shocking to receive a catalog of this size considering we only purchased 3 shirts for our rec pickleball team. We’re clearly not a large corporate account. Please rethink this environmentally harmful practice. It’s 2024.

September 17, 2023Please don't look at the reviews past this date because the older reviews were for a sweatshirt made with different material. I don't understand why Printful didn't create a completely new listing for the new recycled polyester material. For this current sweatshirt made with recycled polyester, the fabric has no stretch; it's thin and see-through. Besides that, the biggest issue for me is how strange the cut of the fabric is. The neck area protrudes out, which is completely different from the product photos. Not to mention the sloppy stitches. Apart from the sloppy workmanship, the fabric around the neckline wasn't aligned properly, causing it to become all twisted. Printful's customer service informed me that it wasn't supposed to be like that, and they issued a refund for the sweatshirt. However, this sloppy stitching problem seems to be a recurring issue, as I've experienced it with other samples I received as well.
Additionally, the fabric around the edges all looked worn out. The sleeve cuffs' technique isn't what you would typically find in a retail store; it felt more like a crafty hobbyist making clothing to sell. I think if that were true, I might be more tolerant of the unprofessional look of this top.
I know Printful has a disclaimer on the polyester items that they should not come into contact with rough surfaces, as it will damage the fabric, but they already did it while stitching the top together. You can see it from all the edges of the fabric that needed to be sewn together.
The print itself might be the best part about this top, although not crisp, it's decent. I like that it's a more eco-friendly fabric, but the execution of how Printful pieced this sweatshirt together just cheapens this product with its sloppy technique. It definitely cannot be sold as a retail product.
